Christopher Dean
His musical journey began at age 15 when he started playing guitar, immersing himself in blues and soul styles influenced by legends such as:
- Charlie Patton
- BB King
- Magic Sam.
In 1995, he founded the Christopher Dean Band, focusing on hardcore blues scenes in Newark, Elizabeth, and Plainfield, NJ. Recognized for his talent, he was recommended to join Big Jack and The Oilers in 1997, touring globally and recording two acclaimed blues albums.
Returning to his band in the early 2000s, Christopher released multiple CDs, earning praise from blues and soul publications.
Since 2000, they've extensively toured, gracing prestigious venues like The Kennedy Center and BB King's.
With skilled musicians like Walter Jarrett on bass and Dave Hollingsworth on drums, their 24th year of touring in 2022 promises to be their most successful yet, with festivals and concerts already lined up.
