    A heartfelt thank you to Ken Fairbrother for always being a huge supporter of live music in the Keys!

    We’re grateful for his dedication to spreading the word and helping to keep our local music scene vibrant and alive.

    His performances are always a treat, and he’s a familiar face at some of the best spots around town.

    You can often catch him playing at:

    • Hank’s Hair of the Dog Saloon
    • Willie T’s Restaurant and Bar
    • The Marker
    • several other fantastic venues throughout the Keys

    His energy and passion for live music make every performance special, and we’re thrilled to feature him on our Live Music Calendar.

    We truly appreciate all he does to bring great music to the community.

    My Music, My Gigs! Thank you to Mike Emerson!

    A Big Thanks to Mike Emerson for Keeping Us Updated with Your Live Music Calendar!

    Mike Emerson is a Cincinnati native, started playing guitar at 12 and developed an early love for jazz, studying under jazz guitarist Cal Collins.

    After high school, he toured with a show band in the 1970s, sharing stages with notable artists like:

    • Ramsey Lewis
    • Ray Charles

    Mike recorded and performed with legends such as:

    • James Brown
    • Hank Ballard.

    In 2002, Mike and his wife relocated to Key West, where he immersed himself in the local music scene.

    He became a staple performer who played solo gigs at Town ‘n’ Tavern for over a decade.

    He also formed Southernmost Brass, a group known for blending Big Band classics with contemporary tunes.

    Grateful to George Chapman for Sharing Your Live Music Schedule with Us!

    Originally from Lakewood, Ohio, began his music journey at a young age, playing guitar and drums.

    He pursue music full-time, joining the band Spoiled and traveling extensively as a drummer, guitarist, and vocalist.

    His career took a pivotal turn when he moved to Key West in 2011, joining The Durtbags and later connecting with Caffeine Carl Wagoner and The Buzz.

    Chapman has a rich background in 70s and 80s music and has written several songs, including the widely played “Everyone Cries.”

    During the pandemic, he and Caffeine Carl held weekly online performances that provided comfort to many.

    Now, as a full-time musician in Key West, George performs almost daily, cherishing the vibrant local music scene and the joy of creating memorable experiences for his audience.

    A big shoutout to Dallas Remington for keeping us updated with your Live Music gigs!

    Dallas Remington is a driven country artist with deep Kentucky roots, blending 90s country and country classics with hints of classic rock.
    She began performing in Nashville at 11, becoming a resident artist at the Nashville Palace, and moved there at 15 to pursue her music career.

    Dallas has released singles like “Princess,” which hit Billboard’s Country Indicator Chart Top 40, and “Uncommon Man,” reaching the Top 25 on MusicRow and gaining nearly 800,000 streams.

    She has performed at notable venues like the Bluebird Café and appeared on platforms such as CMT and WSM 650am.

    Alongside her music, Dallas is deeply committed to volunteering and is excited about the future of her career.
