Tommy Tangie

Trumpet Player, DJ, and Recording Artist, Tommy Tangie (Tom Levecchia) combines his skills and talent to bring a multi-faceted show to any audience. A performance that demonstrates clean, creative mixes on the decks, spiced up with lyrical and vibrant trumpet solos, with a hint of island flavor. Tommy is a true veteran to the stage with over 25 years of experience and is versed in various styles, house, lounge, dance remixes, and open format. Currently based in Florida, he splits his time between studio production and touring the east coast delivering signature hybrid sets at elite nightlife venues and private events from Miami, Tampa, and the Florida Keys to Charleston, Philadelphia, and New York.

In June 2026, Tommy released a new single co-produced with HINEZ entitled “Love Me” which combines high energy tech house with improvised trumpet. This follows the success of his 2 track EP with Natasha Kitty Katt on Ghetto Disco Records, a combination of synth-inspired dance music with lyrical trumpet lines, and an independent 6 track EP entitled “New in Town” combining layered trumpet, hip-hop beats, electronic effects, and record scratching.

Tangie’s powerhouse performance style is backed by a rich, multi-decade musical pedigree. A Jersey native, Tangie received a bachelor’s degree in jazz studies from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. After graduating, he spent nearly a decade in Prague’s music scene performing trumpet with a number of bands and DJs. There, he anchored European tours, played major festival circuits, and appeared on national TV with prominent acts like CCTV All-Stars and DJ Ultrafino. He worked extensively with the Prague Shakespeare Company and Blood, Love and Rhetoric not only displaying his musical talents but also performing as an actor. He returned to the states to continue performing on trumpet and then began to develop his journey in music production. Whether commanding a festival stage, holding down dominant luxury hotel residencies in Key West, or collaborating in the studio, Tommy Tangie brings an unmatched, veteran energy to every performance.
