Key West knows how to put on a show—and this October, music is part of the inspiration. Fantasy Fest 2026 takes place October 16–25 with the theme “Musical Icons and Iconic Musicals.” For LiveMusicEveryDay.com, that felt like a wonderful invitation to celebrate the people who keep our island playing.
The inspiration behind our October artwork
For the second version of our October schedule request, we leaned into the drama of a concert stage: oversized guitars, bright pink and turquoise, touches of gold, and a performer surrounded by color and light. It’s our creative nod to the festival’s musical theme, with the spotlight on something we celebrate all year—live music.
The artwork is our invitation. The musicians and venues of Key West and the Florida Keys supply the real soundtrack.
