Most live music listings answer one question: what’s on? LiveMusicEveryDay.com is built to answer the one you actually have: where should we go tonight, and what’s next after that? Think of it as a way to plan your night out in Key West and the Florida Keys, not just a calendar.

Here is what that looks like, and why the site works the way it does.

For fans: plan tonight, or plan the whole trip

The live music calendar has more than one view, and each view does a different job.

  • Day view is for tonight. One day at a time, with a photo for each show. It is easy to scroll on your phone when you are deciding which way to walk.
  • Month view is for planning. The dots show which nights have music, so you can map a long weekend before you arrive. Tap a date to see that day’s list.

Every show links to its venue and its artist, so you can see who is playing, where and when, and then find the same band again on another night.

Artist pages: find a band again

Each artist has a page with photos, a short bio when we have one, and a list of their upcoming shows. If you liked someone’s set at one bar, their page shows where to catch them next.

Venue pages: see what is coming up at your favorite spot

Each venue has its own page listing its upcoming shows. If you already know where you want to be, start there and see who is playing this week.

Not just Key West

Live music does not stop at the Seven Mile Bridge. We list venues all the way up the Overseas Highway. Venues outside Key West carry their mile marker (MM) in the name, like Porky’s Bayside Restaurant and Marina at MM47.5 in Marathon, so you can see how far up the Keys a show is. For the whole picture, see our guide to live music in the Florida Keys.

For musicians: your page, your photo, your schedule

Every artist on the calendar gets their own page. Send us a photo through the photo upload page and we will put it on your page and on your gigs. To get your shows listed, use the Upload Schedule link in the site menu, or contact us with questions.

For venues: put your nights where people are planning

People use LiveMusicEveryDay.com to decide where to go before they leave the hotel or the house. A venue that sends us its schedule each month shows up in those plans. Use the I am A Music Venue link in the site menu to get started.

How to use it in three steps

  1. Open the calendar and pick Day view for tonight or Month view to plan ahead.
  2. Tap a show to see the artist and the venue.
  3. Check the artist’s page for their next show.

Plan your next night out

Start with the live music calendar, find a show you like, and follow the band to the next one. Every show, every night, from Key West up the Keys.
